Custom Tattoo Policy

CUSTOM CONTENT GUIDELINES

We love bringing meaningful ideas to life, but there are a few things we can’t create. 

We do not produce custom tattoos that include:

  • Nudity or explicit sexual content
  • War crimes or extremist content
  • Brutal, graphic, or overly violent scenes
  • Hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content
  • Content that promotes self-harm

If a submitted design falls into any of the above categories, we may cancel the custom portion of the order and contact you to adjust your request.

ORDER REQUIREMENTS & WHAT YOU RECEIVE

  • Each custom tattoo design is printed as a pack (multiple copies of the same design, for example, 3 copies of one tattoo)
  • We require a minimum of 3 tattoos per design for efficient printing and quality control
  • Larger quantity packs offer better value per tattoo

WHY YOU GET MULTIPLE COPIES

Getting multiple copies of the same design is intentional, it lets you:

  • Test different placements (forearm vs shoulder vs calf, etc.) before committing
  • See how the design looks at different angles and on different parts of the body
  • Try again if your first application isn’t perfect (or if you want a fresh re-do later)
  • Share the same design across multiple events, shoots, or occasions without re-ordering

THE CUSTOM PROCESS

  1. Upload your design (PNG, JPG, or SVG)
  2. Select your quantity pack (save more per tattoo as quantities increase)
  3. Our design team will send you a mock-up (1–2 business days after ordering)
  4. Once approved, we print, cure, and ship from our production hub
  5. You receive an awesome, one-of-a-kind tattoo made just for you

TOTAL WAIT PERIOD

Estimated turnaround is 3–4 weeks from mock up approval date.
This includes approximately 10–15 business days for production and shipping (timelines may vary based on order volume, peak periods, and destination).

WHY CUSTOM TATTOOS TAKE TIME

Our custom tattoos are made-to-order using natural genipin ink and printed in high volume for consistency and cost efficiency.

We run production in weekly cycles. Batching orders together allows us to:

  • Keep prices lower for customers
  • Maintain consistent print quality
  • Reduce waste and reprints
  • Ensure each design is produced with the attention it deserves
  • Each design you upload is created specifically for you.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Because custom tattoos are made to order, we have specific rules around cancellations and refunds.

  • If you request to cancel a custom tattoo after our design team has started work, but before production begins, a 25% handling/design fee will be deducted from any refund to cover time and resources spent on your artwork.
  • Once your custom design has been approved or production has started, custom tattoos are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled.
  • Custom tattoos are not eligible for cancellations, refunds or returns once production has started, as they are made specifically for you.

DAMAGES, DEFECT OR ERRORS

If there is a production defect or we’ve made an error, please contact us at hello@ezink.co within 72 hours of delivery with clear photos. We’ll assess the issue and make it right for you.
